Wakasa Wada Beach

Shirahama Beach is located in the Nishimuro District of Wakayama in Japan. It is one the most popular beaches of Japan and is known for its white sand and clean waters. The beach is pretty frequented on week ends but during early mornings and week days you can have larges stretches of the sea side all for your self. Close by to the beach it self you will find many minshuku or ryokan which are small cabins or huts with tatami flooring that serve good local delicacies especially exotic sea food. Saturday nights are very popular at the beach and ideal for tourists who like being amongst crowds.
