Las Salinas is only ten kms from Ibiza town. There is a regular bus service from Ibiza Town and Playa den Bossa from where you can board and reach Las Salinas. It is about 1.5 kilometres long and 25-30 metres wide. Named after the salt lakes in the south of Ibiza, the beach at Las Salinas can be located at the southern tip of the island and is one of the most popular places.

The bars play music all day long and even serve drinks to your Sun bed. One of the very popular bars along this stretch is the Sa Trinxa Beach Bar. Its well loved for its killer concoctions and music. The end of the bay is frequented by nudists, hippies and party goers who also spend the whole day partying. There are other amenities also available at the Las Salinas. They include Pedaloes, electro boats, catamaran rent and a diving school.
