Port Launay Beach

Port Launay is one of the most beautiful beaches on Mahe Island and is located on the north western coast of the island. There is a wide stretch of sand with plenty of shade. The beach is well maintained and has a lot of visitors on weekends. It is also a Marine National Park that offers plenty of bird watching as well as snorkelling and scuba diving. There is a huge variety of fish that can be seen around the bay. There are beautiful shells and corals found along the shoreline and the quiet waters are a pleasure for divers and sunbathers.
