Cottesloe Beach

Cottesloe Beach

This beach is located on the outskirts of Perth just on the way to Freemantle. Its a favourite sea side destination with a warm climate and a stunning coastline. It is one of the city's most popular places for swimming, snorkeling and surfing. Here you will find huge Norfolk pines line a boulevard buzzing with cafes and pubs and several restaurants. Be it an early morning breakfast with an expansive view over the Indian Ocean or a sunset set beer with some your buddies in a pub the Cottesloe Beach has something for everyone.

The clear coastline along with inviting waters is ideal for swimming and surfing. The presence of corals along the coast also makes it an interesting snorkeling spot. Cottesloe is famous for its Sunday Sessions, when beachfront pubs are full with people. Generations of locals have a great get together over drinks, music and sports. By evening you also get to see several people cooking local delicacies through barbeque. This beach is a good location, pretty central in the city and with great proximity to some good hostels, restaurants, bars and clubs.
